nonnalogo_final1Nonna, recently chosen as one of D Magazine’s Best New Restaurants of the Year hosted a luncheon for the members of Corporate Concierge, Inc. General Manager David Anderson provided a wonderful meal for the concierges, featuring an assortment of their specialty pizzas, a field greens salad Lasagna Bolognese.

The  caterering business started with friends and a vision – creative food using the freshest and finest ingredients coupled with impeccable service. Last holiday season they introduced Food Company’s newest concept: Nonna.

Nonna has a cozy décor that feels like your local neighborhood restaurant. Daily menus are shaped by locally harvested produce, meat and seafood—raised in a sustainable manner whenever possible. So when you don’t have time to make the trip to Naples, come join them for a Neopolitan pizza, handmade pasta and other savory Italian delights piping hot from our wood burning oven.

  1. Recently, I recommended Nonna’s Restaurant, and they were so pleased with the recommendation. It was for a party of 4 people who were all international travelers and had enjoyed good food around the world. One of the men said that his appetizer was one of the best he had eaten – the appetizer using white beans. They dined on Saturday evening, May 9. It was interesting that Laura Bush came in with two friends and sat near by. They certainly will be going back as they enjoyed the food, the ambience and saw several friends there.

  2. I, too, recently set up a dinner for a close friend and coworker. He and a friend of his who was visiting from London ate dinner at Nonna on Friday, May 29th. It was the first time for both of them to eat there and they were overwhelmed by the quality of the food. Both diners are huge “foodies” and commented that their grilled Romaine salad was one of the best salads that they had ever eaten (I can vouch for that, too!). After having many courses, they were so full and satiated but (much to the surprise of the staff) could not leave without ordering a Marguerita pizza to go (Nonna specializes in traditional, thin-crusted Neopolitan-style pizzas done to perfection in their own brick oven). They said it was the perfect place to take someone visiting Dallas, even if they’ve traveled all over the world! Well done, Nonna!
