Mark Maguire, David Knouse and Chef Amador Mora would like to introduce you to their newest concept— Maximo, Cocina Mexicana & Margarita Lounge. Maximo combines the best of Tex-Mex and traditional Mexican favorites with authentic dishes from culinary regions such as Puebla, Yucatan, Veracruz and Oaxaca in an inviting and energetic atmosphere.  The decor reminds you of a Mexico City Villa, with hand-scraped woods, baroque-era stone archways and luxurious velvets enhancing the unique lighting fixtures and artwork.

The members of Corporate Concierge, Inc. recently enjoyed a delicious lunch at Maximo. Chef  Amador Mora prepared a delightful selection of  Tex-Mex specialties. No Mexican food meal is complete without guacamole. And Amadore’s Signature Guacamole is prepared table-side for you. The fish tacos were incredible! Maximo’s menu spotlights some familiar Tex-Mex as well as traditional Mexican plates and will introduce unique dishes from culinary regions such as Puebla, Yucatan, Veracruz and Oaxaca. We welcome you to visit Maximo and  explore the roots of regional Mexican cuisine, from the Aztecas of the south to the Tarahumaras of the north.

Maximo’s serves lunch Monday thru Saturday and also offers a wonderful Sunday Brunch Buffet. Dinner is served nightly. You will want to visit the Margarita Lounge too. It is filled with cozy leather sofas where you can enjoy conversations with friends and one of their special Margaritas. I recommend the signature Tamarindo Maximo or the Maximo Heat.

The interior is gorgeous and the food lives up to the expectations set when you enter the building. Chef Mora and his staff have created a warm, inviting atmosphere to enjoy a cocktail, sunday brunch, or dinner with friends. I look forward to visiting again!

What a nice oasis in the middle of the Galleria area frenzy! The atmosphere is chic & modern but also authentic. And, the tableside guacamole is a must for every dining experience! I love the three different sauces that they provide with the house made chips. I’ve already sent clients there and I will continue to do so – not to mention returning myself!

I was very impressed by the decor and Chef Mora’s menu. The Margarita Lounge is the perfect place to relax and enjoy drinks with friends. I ordered the enciladas and they were wonderful. I plan to go back for happy hour.
