Dallas area concierges  were the guests of  Vanderleia Mallmann, the Concierge Coordinator for Texas de Brazil.  We were given the option to visit either the Cedar Springs or Addison location.  We started by visiting Texas de Brazil’s extravagant fifty-item seasonal salad bar, which includes roasted vegetables and sides, imported cheeses, assorted sushi selections and gourmet items such as imported hearts of palm and marinated Portobello mushrooms or hot items such astdbrazil-dallas-wine-room Brazilian black beans (Feijoada) and lobster bisque soup. Specialty salads such as the Brazilian pasta salad or tangy tabouleh add an extra element of flavor.

The all-you-can-eat experience continued as a troop of Carvers (Gauchos) roamed through the restaurant offering choice cuts of beef , chicken, lamb, pork and sausage-all slowly spin roasted and grilled over an open flame, seasoned to perfection. Choice cuts included chicken breast wrapped in bacon, lamb chops, seasoned flank steak, garlic Picanha, parmesan pork, filet mignon and the house specialty, Picanha-top sirloin.

To further complement our meal, assorted sides such as fried bananas prepared with a hint of cinnamon and sugar, garlic mashed potatoes and the always hard to resist cheese bread were served table side.

Our evening would not have been complete without  trying their signature drinks,  the “Caipirinha” and the “Batida”.  The  Dallas uptown location features 2  private rooms for groups from 10 to 24 guests and a semi-private area for groups up to 100.  Texas de Brazil is located at 2727 Cedar Springs Rd. Valet parking is available.  Serving dinner nightly: fixed menu and price $42.99 per person (full-dinner), $29.99 per person (light dinner)  and Friday lunch: $24.99 full lunch, $19.99 light lunch.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, dessert, tax and gratuity are not included.

  1. WOW! My visit to the Cedar Springs location was amazing. The intimate private dining room made for an even more memorable night as the Gauchos streamed in and out with the delectable meats. Our glasses were never empty and our server was attentive and gracious. This is definitely a “must” for anyone who has out of town guests with their minds not quite made up about Texas hospitality. SO MUCH FOOD! SO MUCH SERVICE! You can’t help but waddle out the door at the end of the night in a dazed meat-coma. It’s an excellent atmosphere for engagement parties, family get-togethers, and client appreciation dinners. I will definitely be back.
