One Arts Plaza: Gives Picnic a New Twist This Summer

One Arts Plaza, the dining and entertainment destination in the heart of the vibrant Arts District, is introducing a new, quick and inexpensive Picnic On the Plaza program for lunch patrons who wish to dine-in, sit on the patios or take-out. All five of the popular restaurants will offer delicious lunch specials allowing guests to enjoy the restaurants’ distinctive cuisine at an unbeatable price.

Dali Wine Bar and Restaurant

Dali offers an inexpensive lunch that includes daily specials and meal combinations starting at $8.75. Dine-in guests can choose a combination of salad or the soup of the day and ½ pasta entrees or ½ sandwiches such as Dali’s wine country club created by Executive Chef Joel Harloff which includes imported French ham, turkey, honey-mustard aioli, sweet cornichon relish, butter lettuce and baby swiss cheese served on toasted sourdough bread. For lunch-on-the-go, Dali offers special box lunches starting at $8.75 that includes either salad or chips and bottled water Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Fedora

Tuesday through Friday lunch guests can enjoy classic Northern Italian specialty cuisine which includes Quattro Formaggi pizza, Pici alla Bolognese pasta and paninis and sandwiches like the Toscana Club with roasted turkey breast, bacon, tomatoes, two cheeses and spicy mustard aioli. For busy lunch patrons, Fedora offers an express lunch for just $9, which includes hand made pasta and a caesar salad or house salad with mixed greens, gorgonzola, cucumber, and a lemon-herb vinaigrette.

Jorge’s Tex Mex Cafe

Jorge’s offers twelve great lunch specials served with beans and rice for $9 Monday through Friday. Lunch entrees include tostadas topped with beans, cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomato and onions, beef and chicken tacos, enchiladas, and burritos with chili con queso. Jorge’s also offers its famous lunch fajitas for $12 served with beans and Mexican rice.

Screen Door

Screen Door’s lunch includes great appetizers, greens, sandwiches and southern entrees. Guests can enjoy salads starting at $9 and sandwiches starting at $10, which comes with either greens or house fries. Additionally, Screen Door offers seasonal lunch specials such as their famous crisp fried soft shell crab BLT and grilled red fish, blue crab succotash and roasted lemon tartar sauce.

Tei An

The award-winning Japanese restaurant offers a variety of lunch specials in addition to its unique bento box entree. The aptly named “Jewelry [bento] Box” features a treasure trove of delectable gems including white seaweed salad, crisp shrimp and vegetable tempura, flavorful Japanese chicken and the special Soba and fresh sushi of the day for only $14.
