The Dallas Summer Musicals has announced their 2015/2016 season. It is filled with popular favorites such as Wicked and 42nd Street, as well as shows fresh from Broadway. The season starts in November of 2015 with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. All performances are at the Music Hall at Fair Park.

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music
The classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical returns to Dallas with all of your favorite songs from the original Broadway musical, including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” and “Edelweiss” , as well as two songs from the 1965 film, film’s “I Have Confidence” and “Something Good”.

42nd Street

This year, the Dallas Summer Musicals is partnering up with Performing Arts Fort Worth for 3 of their shows Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music, THE LITTLE MERMAID, and 42nd Street.
These shows will play 2 weeks at the Music hall in Dallas, then travel to the Bass Performance Hall for a one-week engagement.
