A Perfect Evening in One Arts Plaza

There couldn’t have been a more perfect evening for the members of Corporate Concierge, Inc.  to tour the culinary delights of One Arts Plaza.

We were greeted at Dali Wine Bar with Chardonnay and seared scallops. Paul and Chef Joel spent time with us describing how wonderfully unique their restaurant is. If you think wine bars don’t deliver 5 star menus, you better get to Dali Wine Bar! Did you know that you can take home that bottle of wine you enjoyed with your dinner? You can! Did you know residents can take their glass of wine with them if they haven’t finished? They can! Dali has a special license that allows patrons to leave with their beverages and purchase bottles right there at the restaurant. Trust me, you won’t find their wines at your average liquor store or membership warehouse.

Our next stop was Tei-en where we dined on exquisite white seaweed salad with a wonderful vinaigrette. They’re about to open their very own roof-top lounge! It’s going to be a fantastic spot to enjoy the summer nights in Dallas.

Next, we visited the wonderful staff at Jorge’s,  where we were seated at the outside lounge area with queso, chicken flautitas, fajita skewers, and that oh so yummy salsa. Jorge’s salsa is definitely on my Top 3 salsas in Dallas. They have a really fun pre-show menu for anyone who wants an authentic quick bite before heading to a show at any of the theaters in the area. They also provide late night service for anyone who wants to meet up after the show. They are truly hospitable and how about their margarita martinis?! Yum!

Corporate Concierge members enjoying appetizers at Fedora

Although it was tough for me, we moved on to Fedora. We were seated in a private area and served bruschetta with a wonderful balsamic drizzle as well as crispy calamari. We also sampled a red, white, and sparkling wine. There were flat screens with a black and white movie playing and we definitely enjoyed the high back lounge sofas and black top tables. Mangia e statti zitto!

We ended our delectable evening at Screen Door. Chef David joined us at the table to talk about their new spring menu ideas while we tried one of them out. A crawfish springroll? With horseradish jelly? That…..just……happened! And wow, it was fantastic! We also got to try out the assorted breadbasket. Sweet potato scones, spice cake muffins, and jalapeno cornbread. Oh and that apple butter! Heaven! To finish the evening, we had a delicious cocktail made with champagne and ginger lime syrup. Mmmm…….so good! As you can see, we had an amazing experience and can hardly wait to share all these gems with you!

Huge thanks to Martha Hinojosa for planning, coordinating, and inviting us! You’re amazing! The restaurant staff at each venue were gracious and so very hospitable. Thanks to all for a memorable event!
