Members of Corporate Concierge Inc. (CCI) were invited to attend the Media Open House at The Perot Museum of Nature & Science on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. CCI members were treated to refreshments and heard from the following speakers: Nicole Small, CEO of the Museum of Nature & Science, welcomed and gave overview; Jennifer Houston, Director of Strategic Initiatives, spoke about the building and exhibit hall highlights; Walt Zartman (in photos), SVP of Hillwood Development Company, gave a construction update; and Forrest Hoglund, chairman of the Leadership Campaign for the Museum, spoke about the expansion campaign update and how they have met $135 million of their $185 million goal and emphasized their need for the Final Fifty!
The Community Open House will be held Saturday, August 28 from 1-3 p.m. at the Museum’s Construction Center, located at 1155 Broom Street (near Woodall Rogers and Field, downtown Dallas). Visitors are invited to view the building model, the schematic renderings of the facility and exhibit halls, and the construction site from the Observation Deck.
