Former Dallasite and SMU graduate, Regina Taylor brings her powerful play, The Trinity River Plays to the Dallas Theater Center. The trilogy includes JarflyRain and Ghost(story)), which  explores the unique passages in one woman’s life journey.

You may remember Regina Taylor for such films as Lean On Me and in the TV series, I’ll Fly Away and The Unit. What you may not know is, she has been writing plays for more than 20 years. Crowns, her musical about African-American women and their hats was presented by the Dallas Theater Center in its 2005-’06 season — in a production directed by Taylor.
