Many Whole Foods Markets in the Dallas/Fort Worth area are collecting donations for the North Texas Food Bank.

You will find the Whole Foods Market Giving Tree” will be set up at the front of the store, decorated with  paper ornaments that are placed on the tree when a donation to the North Texas Food Bank is made. When you donate any amount of $1.00 or more,  you  then write their name one of  the ornament and it’s placed on the tree for all to see.

I love that we collect donations for this particular charity, especially at this time of the year when the needs are so apparent.” — Scott Smitherman, Whole Foods Market-Highland Park

Donations of any amount are accepted at any register and are tax-deductible.  Every $1.00 donated usually provides 4 meals. And there is a matching grant program that will double the amount of meals provided.  So, your   $1.00 donation provides 8 MEALS!

Don’t forget to take advantage of Whole Foods Market Concierge Services.
