The classic Mel Brooks movie, Young Frankenstein is ALIVE and well at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas. This spectacular new production of Young Frankenstein is a wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend that will have you tapping your feet and dyeing from laughter.
Recently, a few members of Corporate Concierge, Inc attended a performance of Young Frankenstein and gave it rave reviews:
To quote Mel Brooks ‘Young Frankenstein has everything a Broadway musical should have, including a love story,’ Brooks says. ‘Of course, the love story is between the creature and his maker.’ For Young Frankenstein , Brooks created some delightfully goofy new ditties, such as “He Vas My Boyfriend” and “Roll in the Hay.” Director-choreographer Susan Stroman makes sure they get laughs as well as set the toes to tapping.
Lawson Taitte, with the Dallas Morning News, gave Young Frankenstein rave reviews as a bawdy romp. The musical is one of the most entertaining I have seen in years. The opening number, costumes and backdrop just grab your interest immediately. It stays true to the movie, so get ready for hilarious laughter to escape you for all the one-liners. Igor, who was in the original Broadway production, steals the show. All of the cast perform exceptionally and the songs are outrageously clever! I highly recommend ‘Young Frankenstein’!
I had THE best time watching Young Frankenstein!!

Young Frankenstein was perfect for date night with The Boyfriend. He is a huge Mel Brooks fan and wasn’t disappointed. I, on the other hand, am not a Mel Brooks fan, but still found my self laughing out loud. I highly recommend it!
