The Dallas Zoological Society hosted us to a wonderful meeting, lunch and tour on April 15, 2009. It had been quite a while since any of us had visited The Dallas Zoo and we were thrilled with all the changes we experienced. Upon arrival through the beautifully landscaped front entrance, we were whisked away in adorable animal print trams to The Flamingo Room, which is a great place for a corporate meeting or family party. Lelia Gowland, Development and Marketing Officer, arranged our visit and wanted to invite the Concierge to participate in their consignment ticket program.

After lunch, we embarked on our tour which included an exclusive look at the soon-to-be-open Ghosts From The Bayou exhibit that opens April 18. These legendary white creatures with pink eyes can be found in the Pierre A. Fontaine Bird & Reptile Building. As we rode around the zoo in our private tour, it was nice to see so many friendly young families enjoying the beautiful day and all that The Dallas Zoo has to offer.

While in The Flamingo room, we heard from Gary McGahey, their Catering Sales manager, and enjoyed a delicious and refreshing lunch. Leila introduced us to Michael Meadows, President and CEO of The Dallas Zoological Society and to Sean Greene, Director of Community Relations. We thoroughly enjoyed the educational and entertaining meeting.
