Corporate Concierge, Inc. (CCI) & BOMA members hosted Easter Fill-A-Basket drives at 25 properties, and tenants enthusiastically filled 1834 baskets with coloring books, stuffed animals, candy & small toys. Many thanks to everyone who helped make the 11th annual Easter Fill-A-Basket Drive a tremendous success!  Our goal was to provide Easter baskets to needy children affiliated with Mi Escuelita, Genesis Women’s Shelter, Vogel Alcove, Dallas & Collin County Children’s Advocacy centers, Interfaith Housing Coalition, Our Friends Place, Jonathan’s Place, Good Shepherd Community Center & New Beginning Center.

In addition, baskets were given to Community Partners benefiting Child Protective Services.  The Dallas BOMA Community Service Committee provided Easter baskets, grass, cellophane bags & ribbon via funds raised through lobby vendor sales. Thanks to those who forward those funds!

Conducting drives were: Sandra Smith, Galleria Office Towers; Susan Varsel, The Crescent;  Keith Bartlett, Renaissance Tower; Holli Biggerstaff, Uptown Center; Candace Rozell, Concierge Connection; Melissa McNeel, Interchange Office Center; Tracy Devillier, Providence Towers; Amy Snow, Plaza of The Americas; Kristine Lang, Comerica Bank Tower; Lisa Schrader, Preston Commons; Amber Garcia, Sterling Plaza; Jennifer Nemeth, Park Center; Bridget Curl, Park Central 7, 8 & 9; Gayle Johnson, 8300 Douglas; Regina McClendon, Las Colinas Towers; Gail Roden, Bank of America, Plano; Ashley Norman, 8333 Douglas; Heather Woods, 2000 McKinney Avenue; Tiffany Allen, The Points at Waterview; Joan Lehrer, Two Forest Plaza; Cecilia Ayala, JPMorgan International Plaza; Blair Davis, Oxy Tower; Kristin Collett, Bryan Tower; Kelli Sowards, Las Colinas Corporate Center; Glenda Lee, Woodall Rodgers Tower; & Julia Hart, 1700 Pacific. A very special thank you also goes out to Bryan Tower tenant Griselda Morales-Lopez, who works for The Bank of New York Mellon. Griselda’s church, North Dallas Family Church, filled 40 baskets for the children.

Special gratitude is extended to Tracy Devillier and Kari Delamore with Providence Towers, for providing our central sorting location, storage & support. Mike Brady, Alpha Glass, did an awesome job of coordinating delivery efforts, with help from Scott Young, Certified Termite & Pest Control; Dodi Whitmire & George Smith, Mid America Metals; Jacob Erwin & Keil Werking, ThyssenKrupp Elevatror; Scarlett Gary, CWD; Scott Frech, Executive Security; M.G. Cox, UBM; Clay Young, Crescent Real Estate Services; Linda & Mary Anne Amodeo, City Wide Building Services; Greg Miller, United Rentals; Randy Langford, Pro Guard; Paul Eaton, International Building Services; & Lisa Rutherford & the Granite Properties gang. Big thanks also goes to the Dallas BOMA Community Service Committee, who sorted & delivered boxes of baskets, grass & wrap for each participant.

Many thanks and  hugs to all of you who helped spread sunshine to so many needy kids!  The Easter Fill-A-Basket Drive was established in 1987 by Corporate Concierge, Inc. members & became a joint venture between CCI & Dallas BOMA in 1999.  It is our understanding that this unique, charity-driven partnership between the local corporate concierge association & Dallas BOMA is the first of its kind in the U.S.!
