As a concierge in a state that is known for steak , and a city filled to the brim with dining options, it takes a special restaurant to make me stand up and take notice.
The Capital Grille at the Crescent Court in Dallas is that special place. From the moment you enter the elegant space filled with rich wood paneling and gorgeous chandeliers, you are in for a one of a kind dining experience. The Dallas Morning News describes the service as ‘old-school professional and attentive” and I wholeheartedly agree.
Our evening started with their famous pan fried calamari, which happens to be one of my favorite things on the menu. Amanda Leese, the Sales and Marketing Manager was our gracious host for the evening and made sure that everyone enjoyed themselves. We dined on expertly aged beef and had a wonderful cabernet, which was the perfect wine to compliment to our meal. A few of the concierges were bold enough to try The Capital Grille’s famous Stoli Doli cocktail. The tasty pineapple infused vodka drink is just the right thing for a wonderful evening this this. Amanda and the servers ensured that we had a dining experience that not only met, but exceeded our expectations.
The Capital Grille isn’t a flashy restaurant, nor is it a flash in the perverbial pan that is the Dallas dining scene, but it is THE place to indulge in creamy lobster bisque, perfectly cooked filets, the best lamb chops in the city. The Capital Grille is a ‘go to’ restaurant elevated to a higher standard. If you have clients to entertain or future in laws to impress, you want to take them to a restaurant that you can rely on to provide solid service and wonderful meals.
